What interests you the most in tattooing?
Everything from the process of it, to the art, history and culture.Working at Soul Signature Tattoo since I am working at Soul Signature since 2007. Style I enjoy Pacific Island Art. It connetcs me to my people and past. Who are you? What is your background? Born in Maui and raised on O'ahu. I am of Polynesian descent both my parents are from Tonga. While growing up, I have learned many of my art skills through my older cousin Su'a Suluape Aisea. How did you get into tattooing? As a young kid my older cousin Aisea Taetu'u was my art teacher. He got me into art. |
What is your favorite line of the human body?
I don't have a favorite line of the body, for every body is different and ideas and stories are different. But I do enjoy following natural lines of the body, cause every one is different so Will the lines be. How do you keep yourself inspired? My influences come from my Soul Signature family, my culture and the many different artists that I have met throughout my years tattooing. People, art and music keeps me inspired. Everyday things ... Do you have any specific hobbies besides work/tattooing? I enjoy watching live music, there's a art form in how musicians set up there music and how to deliver it to the listener, anything can happen when it's live.. I also try to explore other medium of art, painting and such... Of course cause we live on an island so hanging with friends and family and going to the beach is like a hobby... |
